@ Scott: As we know that now days many small SEO company coming into the market out of which few of them are using unethical SEO process which can harm business owner website. So it is necessary to ask basic question to the SEO company like:
1) Whether they use White SEO or Black Hat SEO Technique.
2) Ask for their portfolio with ranking report.
